5 DAYS WHITE WATER RAFTING ADVENTURE AND GORILLA TREKKING
5 Day White Water Rafting and gorilla trekking experience Safari combines two different locations that are Eastern regions and the western region. The Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park in the western region of where the Giants are sighted and explored then Jinja region in the Eastern with magnificent white-water rafting experience on the longest River Nile in Africa and in the World located in the Eastern District of Jinja. Jinja is popularly known for being the source of the River Nile.
Highlights of the safari
- Day 1: Pick up from the airport and be transferred to your hotel/ guest house.
- Day 2: White water rafting experience on the Nile River and drive back to Kampala/ Entebbe
- Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
- Day 4: Gorilla trekking
- Day 5: Drive back to Kampala/Entebbe International Airport
Day 1. Arrival
Our Guide will warmly welcome you on arrival at the Airport. For the former, you will be transferred to your hotel where you will be briefed about your safari by our head of Safaris. You are advised to make use of Forex this evening.

Day 2. Water rafting in Jinja
After breakfast, you will drive to the Eastern town of Jinja for your magnificent White-water rafting adventure experience. Drive through Mabira forest, a tropical rain forest in central Uganda. You will also see lush tea and sugarcane plantations plus several roadside markets, arriving at Kalagala Falls in time for your full or half-day white water rafting adventure on the River Nile. After your rafting experience transfer to Kampala/ Entebbe arriving the Evening.

Day 3. Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable forest
After your breakfast you drive to the south-western region of the Pearl of Africa. Have a stopover at the Equator to have a cup of tea/coffee and also is the only place where you will have an opportunity to stand in 2 hemispheres at the same time an take some photos. Proceed to Mbarara for Lunch thereafter, drive through savannah grasslands seeing banana plantations and herds of Ankole cattle with their incredible long curving horns. Then ascend into the Kigezi highlands, known as the “Switzerland of Africa”, with terraced farming and mountain scenery to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.

Day 4. Gorilla tracking in the Bwindi Impenetrable forest.
A morning cup of coffee or tea is recommended before your gorilla tracking safari. You will then head to the briefing point at the park headquarters and from here you will be briefed about the dos and don’ts while in the jungle forest with the Gentle Giants. You will be provided with walking sticks and you are also advised to have your lunch parked with enough drinking water. Staring into the pensive brown eyes of these gentle giants, who share 95% of their genes with humans, is as humbling as it is thrilling. After you trek, you will be transferred to Lake Bunyonyi. Here you have the opportunity to do an evening boat cruise on the beautiful Lake Bunyonyi comprised of 29 small islands with different Historical Background
Overnight at your lodge. Crater Bay.
Day 05: To Kampala or Entebbe International Airport
After your early breakfast, you will be driven to Kampala or Entebbe and here you the opportunity to have a second stopover at the Equator if on the first day missed out on taking very good pictures and also buying some souvenirs. Or if you choose to go via Kigali, the opportunity is open depending on your flight schedule.
